Rain at an oil refinery
is the Mordorist looking
place on earth.
I used to go up
on the platform above
the railcar loading docks
to escape the rain.
Up there, it was loud and dark
with the last, screaming by-product
of crude oil distillation
being loaded into railcars.
There was a man who opened the shoot that let down the coke.
He was black,
but he wasn't born black.
Years of standing over the coke cars had colored him.
Now he was blackened,
like the catfish and alligator.

Let's not forget the human cost. The carbon fuel industry has to create zombies who are motivated solely by the new spending power. In some places like the US Gulf Coast, the appeasement pay is sufficiently high to allow people to look the other way while their environment is destroyed.
However, in Nigeria the people were not paid enough to have their livelihood of fishing and farming destroyed by oil drilling. They are revolting.
The question becomes, How long will it be profitable to keep a standing army over the oil fields?

the guy above cannot even spell "vehicle", what's up with that. I ride my bicycle 6-7 days/week and you cannot believe how hostile motorists are. They will crash their cars to avoid a dog or duck crossing the road, and then aim to hit a bicyclist who's simply trying to get from one place to another without using oil, imagine that.
We at RethinkHEAT feel that there is only one way to heat; and that is infrared. There is no worrying about oil consumption, and it is cheaper to operate than consuming oil right now.
But we reply too much on oil now.
Hope we can get more clean energy.
